IRCTC to add passenger insurance unreserved Ticketing system soon

IRCTC Update: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is rolling its updates on including passenger insurance and unreserved ticketing system. Managing director of IRCTC added in a statement, and IRCTC is going to start passenger insurance soon, It made a deal with three companies. Insurance would be less than Rs 2 per trip for a total sum of Rs 10 lakh. Public- sectors are dealing with this Railways which are handling catering, tourism and Internet ticketing activities which also joined hands with State Bank of India in further developing the digital payments via SBI mobile wallet.

Manocha further mentioned, The company is also dealing with other railway ticketing activities, and IRCTC is planning to enter unreserved ticketing system which will be made available in the coming few months. To reduce the hassle for IRCTC passengers company also working with Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, and Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Pusa just to provide upgraded services. Soon IRCTC will launch its own e-wallet in a renewed form. It went back in the failure of card payment in 2-3 percent because of the pathway issues, Now IRCTC is working on the e-wallet to bring it for its passengers which will be accessed for the first three months. Now it was linked to PAN card, and it will also be linked to Aadhar card.

Now MobiKwik joined hands with IRCTC in launching e-cash payments for Tatkal reservations, and Mobikwik partnered with Indian Railways s to digitise payments on the IRCTC app and IRCTC FoodOnTrack app. You can check everything by doing IRCTC login.

Its main goal is to meet the demand of best user experience for its IRCTC passengers. Now MobiKwik is handling the cash pick in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Surat and Jaipur.  Earlier IRCTC announced the launch of UPI  (Unified Payments Interface) on its platform.
